Your physicians should be reading the hard cases
Not the 80% that a trained processor would have coded the same way every time. Thallyx takes the routine volume and hands your team the cases that genuinely need clinical judgement.
Volume grows; headcount cannot
Every new product, market and intake channel adds cases. The budget for people does not move at the same rate, so the slack comes out of quality, out of the QPPV's sleep, or out of a vendor invoice that keeps growing.
The clock does not care about your queue
Fifteen days for a serious case, seven for a fatal or life-threatening SUSAR. A backlog is not a scheduling problem in this setting — it is a compliance finding waiting for an inspection.
Attrition eats the training
Case processing is the entry role. You train someone for months, they get good, and then they leave for a role that is not a queue. The knowledge does not accumulate anywhere.
Quality is invisible until it is not
A miscoded term or a missed seriousness call does not announce itself. It surfaces in an audit, in a signal that should have been detected earlier, or in an inspection finding with your name on it.
Priced per case, against a number you already know
You are not comparing this to a software budget. You are comparing it to an invoice with a per-case rate on it, or to a fully loaded headcount number.
$15–60
Thallyx, per case processed. The range reflects complexity, language, channel mix and volume.
Commercial model, agreed per engagement
$50–200
The human equivalent per case, which is why this work went offshore in the first place.
Industry estimate
Or simply displace the contract
Most of our conversations do not start with a per-case rate. They start with a BPO contract that is up for renewal, a volume commitment, and a service level. We are happy to be measured against that contract on its own terms — same volumes, same SLAs, same quality metrics — because that is the comparison the buyer actually has to defend internally.
Ranges describe the commercial model, not a published rate card. Final pricing is agreed per engagement.
Nothing about your quality system changes
Your SOPs govern. Your escalation rules are configured to match them, not ours. Your QC step stays where it is, and cases arrive in your validated safety database in the same state your offshore team was delivering them.
What changes is the unit cost, the fact that the queue does not age overnight, and that every field in every case carries a link back to the source text that produced it — which is more traceability than the process it replaces ever had.
